第5回アフリカ地域研究パラダイム再編セミナー

以下のように，第5回「アフリカ地域研究パラダイム再編セミナー」を1月27日(金)にエジンバラ大学・アフリカ研究センター・所長のBarbara Bompani教授を迎えて京都大学稲盛財団記念館で開催しました．セミナーは２つのパートに分かれていて，前半部は”The State of African Studies in Europe”というタイトルで，エジンバラ大学アフリカセンターを始めとするヨーロッパのアフリカ研究についての概要，後半は“Forging New Alliances: Reflections on Religion and Politics in Post-Apartheid South Africa”というタイトルで，Bompani教授ご自身が進めている南アの宗教実践と政治についてのご研究を発表していただきました.

アフリカ地域研究パラダイム再編セミナーは，こうした教育・研究活動をさらに活性化し，京都大学のアフリカ地域研究資料センター(CAAS)やアジア・アフリカ地域研究研究科(ASAFAS)が創出してきたアフリカ地域研究を世界的に展開するために企画されました．これと関連する研究を推進している優れた研究者を国内外から招へいし，話題提供していただきます．
